Overview:

 

Position Description:

 

Operate, troubleshoot, & maintain drum & IBC (tote) filling stations, belt driven conveyor systems, industrial forklifts, manual & automated equipment/instruments. Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

 

 -Ensure proper selection, quality inspection, & inventory of customer supplied empty packages (drums & IBC’s).

 

-Safely & efficiently operate belt driven conveyor systems to load empty packages for the correct fill station.

 

-Ensure proper label application to empty packages (verify label matches work order, labels are error free, & applied in a presentable manner).

 

-Operate a 2-sided drummer filler station via an HMI (PLC) including but not limited to; physical package adjustment & observation, application of sequence numbering, and verification of fill weights.

 

-Operate a 2-sided tote filling station via an HMI (PLC) including but not limited to; physical package adjustment & observation, application of sequence numbering, and operation of a pneumatically driven fill lance.

 

-Operate an industrial forklift with various attachments such as: drum grabbers, hoppers, & slings to palletize packages and stage in warehouse locations, empty trash, and other duties as defined.

 

-Repackage damaged drums and totes.

 

-Pump liquid chemicals from drums and totes to a storage tank via a pneumatic diaphragm pump.

 

-Connect bulk liquid tank trailers to pipe headers via hoses.

 

-Operate pneumatic, manual, and motorized valves to direct proper flow paths of liquid chemicals, nitrogen, steam, and utility water.

 

-Accurately & properly fill out various forms of documentation daily including but not limited to; inspection sheets, work orders, JHA’s, and offloading checklists.

 

-Maintain customer requirements for quality control.

 

-Perform minor maintenance activities including but not limited to; hose replacements, fitting replacement & upkeep, use of power tools, small valve replacements, and filter changes.

 

-Communicate and work with others to accomplish work tasks.

 

-Problem solve and troubleshoot as issues arise.

 

-Properly use PPE (Proper Protective Equipment).

 

-Perform daily housekeeping as needd.

 

-Other duties as directed or required.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

Position Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possession of or ability to get and maintain a TWIC card
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to wear respiratory protection
  • Team building skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in temperature extremes
  • Good safety record
  • Posses a professional/representative appearance and behavior
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas:
    • Warehouse environment
    • Tank terminal
    • Truck/Rail loading
    • Process or pipeline
    • Forklift experience
    • Mechanical/Instrumentation experience
    • Other relevant experience considered at time of application
