Operator - $20/hr+

Pay: $20–$23/hr

Schedule: Monday - Thursday (4:00am - 12:30pm)

Summary This Operator supports daily manufacturing by operating extrusion and compounding equipment, maintaining quality and safety standards, and assisting across production as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for extrusion and compounding, including start‑up, shutdown, and cleaning.

• Prepare materials, equipment, and documentation for production.

• Troubleshoot machinery and resolve operating issues.

• Follow all quality standards, safety rules, and housekeeping procedures.

• Load/unload trucks and operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment.

• Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns to supervision.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to safety and product quality.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform bending, twisting, climbing, and prolonged standing.

• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.

• Experience with forklifts/pallet jacks.

• Basic polymer knowledge preferred.

• Prior plastics manufacturing experience or a 2‑year technical degree; extrusion experience a plus.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
