    Operator  

    Machine Operator, CNC Router and Injection molding machine

    Schedule: 

    1st 6:45am-3:15pm

    2nd 2:45pm-11:15pm

    3rd 10:45pm- 7:15am

    Payrate: $18.00

    About the company:

    They have become recognized as a customer focused leader of producing quality extrusions, injection molded parts, and CNC components.

    Job Duties:

    • Operates small hand and power tools (i.e. screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, power hand-drills, routers, rivet guns, etc.) as well as
    • powered machinery such as drill-presses, power saws, pneumatic and hydraulic punches and other such equipment.
    • Use ladders, step stools as needed.
    • Performs job assignment duties in accordance with applicable quality and manufacturing procedures, work instructions (verbal orwritten), good manufacturing practices and safety procedures.
    • Sets up and/or adjusts production equipment as required by the job assignment.
    • Mixes raw palletized plastic stock and pigments used in the molding process, loads palletized plastic stock into the machine as needed.
    • Conducts self-inspection of work-output in accordance with work instructions (verbal and written) and inspection plans.
    • Fill out and maintains production and inspection records in accordance with job and procedural requirements.
    • Determines production requirements from production orders, drawings, written specifications and similar documents.
    • Counts, wraps, packages, and/or labels in-process and finished product in accordance with work instructions (verbal and written) and procedural requirements.
    • Upon qualification, trains or assists in the training of new-hire and transferred personnel.
    • Transfers stock and finish product either manually or by means of manually operated stock handling equipment such as handcarts and

    ** REQUIRED JOB SKILLS **

    • Ability to use common hand tools and to set up and operate various common powered tools and production equipment.
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 55lbs at any given time for purposes of mixing /re-filling hoppers
    • Ability to use basic measuring and inspection tools such as tape measures, steel-rules, calipers, attribute gauges, gauge blocks and pins, go/no go type gauges, etc.
    • Ability to read and comprehend production documents and simple mechanical drawings.
    • Familiarity with the company's quality system and applicable procedures, and the company's work and safety rules and procedures.
    • Ability to interact positively with supervisory personnel and coworkers.
    • Ability to operate a lift-truck (forklift) (optional with appropriate training).

    Education: High School Diploma/ GED
