Operator Assistant

Burning Operator
Starting Pay: $17/hour
Shift: While training M-F from 6-2pm, until Lead and Supervisor agree employee is ready to work unsupervised (takes 60-90 days).
After training, the normal shift will be the following:
- Wed (12pm – 6pm)
- Thr (6am – 6pm)
- Fri (6am-6pm)
- Sat (6am – 6pm)

Core Experience & Skills
1. 1+ Years of Relevant Experience: Proven background working in a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or warehouse production facility.
2. Computer Literacy: Basic tech skills required to interface with kiln software systems and log production data.
3. Information Analysis: Capability to gather metrics and skillfully interpret machine readouts to identify anomalies.
4. Active Problem Solving: Track record of resolving mechanical or operational variances in a timely, effective manner.

Physical & Safety Requirements
5. Physical Stamina: Capability to manually transfer, push, and steer heavy kiln cars into and out of the industrial burners.
6. Safety Adherence: Strict compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements provided by the company.
7. Environment Stamina: Capacity to remain highly focused while working around safety-sensitive, high-heat kiln environments.

8. Adaptable Work Ethic: High flexibility with the natural ability to "roll with the punches"when production demands shift.
9. Team Integration: Willingness to serve as a reliable anchor to achieve organizational efficiency alongside a tight-knit plant crew.
