    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Sewing / embroidery experience is helpful but not required.
    • Basic communication skills to include reading, speaking, and understanding English and basic math skills.
    • The physical ability to stand and walk up to 100% of the work shift.
    • The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
    • Specific vision abilities required of the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
    • This position requires a high attention to detail and quality.
    • This position requires demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Must follow directions well.
    • Ability to work overtime – including work on weekends, when needed.
    • Good attendance is a must.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Check in garments when they arrive.
    • Load design onto the machine via computer
    • Hoop garment or item while the machine is running, prepping for the next run
    • Operate machines while trimming the backing
    • Learn how to adjust tensions for better sewing quality
    • Fix errors if needed on items
    • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are necessary for this job.
    • Maintains a safe, efficient, and clean work environment that shows pride in Workwear, and is worthy of sharing with visitors at all times.

    HOURS: 1st shift hours:  6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. OT may be required daily and on Saturday
