Operator, Forklift- 1st Shift

The position offers a starting hourly rate of $20.64/hr on 1st shift with medical insurance through the Local Union 152.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Forklift Operator reports to the Warehouse Supervisor at a Seabrook, NJ location. Responsibilities include loading/unloading goods using a forklift, managing inventory with RF scanners and QAD, ensuring proper product rotation, tagging, and storage, and communicating shortages. The role emphasizes safe handling, product quality, and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of forklift experience in manufacturing
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: food/beverage industry experience, strong communication, detail-oriented, and ability to work independently

Physical & Working Conditions

Requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and operate equipment. Exposure to humid conditions, noise, and chemicals may occur. Vision and hearing abilities are necessary for safety and task completion. Accommodations are available for qualified individuals.
