ProSource People is Hiring – Dry Plant OperatorJob Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewProSource People is seeking a Dry Plant Operator to safely operate and maintain drying equipment used in the processing of garnet materials. This position requires monitoring plant operations, performing equipment inspections, maintaining production quality, and supporting plant maintenance activities. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work effectively in a production environment.Job Responsibilities· Operate a 10,000 BTU dryer system using an HMI control panel to dry garnet· Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down the Feeco Rotary Dryer and related equipment· Perform screen changes and magnet inspections· Collect product samples and monitor product quality· Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities· Document inspection findings and maintenance records· Operate forklifts and complete pre-shift equipment inspections· Properly park and secure forklifts at the end of each shift· Assist with maintenance, repairs, and equipment adjustments· Maintain and organize company tools used during plant operations· Complete labor cards, job tickets, reports, and required paperwork· Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout procedures· Monitor equipment performance and report quality or productivity concerns immediately· Maintain a clean work area and complete daily housekeeping duties· Shovel spilled garnet and perform cleanup tasks as needed· Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) or Take 5 assessments before performing new or unfamiliar tasks· Assist with continuous improvement efforts within Dry Plant operations· Work cooperatively and professionally with coworkers and supervisors· Perform other duties as assignedRequirements· Ability to safely operate industrial plant equipment· Forklift operating experience preferred· Strong attention to safety and detail· Ability to perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections· Ability to complete required reports and production documentation· Must be dependable with good attendance· Ability to work independently and as part of a team· Mechanical aptitude preferred· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions· Willingness to perform housekeeping and cleanup duties as neededAdditional Information· Industrial plant environment· Safety-focused workplace· Hands-on position with opportunities for growth and skill development· Requires adherence to all company safety policies and proceduresImportant Note – Safety Sensitive Role
