Location: Irvine ,CA
Duration: 12-Month
Pay Rate: $18.50 $19.75/W2hour
Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM



Position Summary
We are seeking an Operator I to support the manufacturing of high-quality medical devices in a controlled cleanroom environment. The successful candidate will perform precision assembly, testing, and documentation activities while following established quality, safety, and production procedures.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity, and the ability to work with small components and tools in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical device components and assemblies.
  • Follow standardized work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain product quality and compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Accurately complete written and electronic production documentation to ensure product traceability.
  • Inspect components and assemblies for quality and accuracy.
  • Work with precision tools and perform detailed assembly tasks under a microscope.
  • Communicate production issues, ideas, and solutions effectively with team members.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with internal teams and customers.
  • Follow all safety, cleanroom, and workplace procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Ability to handle small parts and components with precision.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand motions, including gripping, pinching, pulling, and twisting.
Preferred Experience
  • Medical device manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
  • Experience assembling components using microscopes.
  • Experience with hand soldering.
  • Experience maintaining written and electronic manufacturing records.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work with small components requiring fine motor skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed assembly tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to wear required cleanroom garments and follow gowning procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Cleanroom Dress & Safety Requirements
Employees must comply with strict cleanroom standards, including:
  • Wear clean, non-shedding clothing free of loose threads, frayed edges, glitter, sequins, or materials that may create contamination risks.
  • Wear closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks or stockings.
  • No sandals, open-toe shoes, open-heel shoes, or footwear that exposes toes.
  • No nail polish, artificial nails, makeup, or jewelry that cannot be safely covered.
  • Clothing must provide appropriate coverage and comply with cleanroom requirements.
  • Follow all gowning procedures before entering production areas.
