Job Title: Operator I

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday Thursday, 5:30 PM 3:30 AM)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Location: Liberty, SC 29657

Position Overview

This position is responsible for the assembly and production of high-quality medical devices within a regulated manufacturing environment. Working under close supervision, the Operator I will perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on components used in implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).

No prior manufacturing experience is required. We are heavily prioritizing candidates who demonstrate a steady work history, career progression or advancement within previous roles, and clear evidence of reliability and commitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform component assembly, testing, and production tasks according to standardized operating procedures.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Maintain accurate manufacturing records to ensure quality documents are correct and product/inventory remains traceable.

  • Communicate production issues, safety concerns, or process improvement ideas to leadership.

  • Partner with the Manufacturing Supervisor to monitor individual goals and daily process metrics.

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude and collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Comply with all Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and applicable regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Work History: Proven track record of reliability, consistent attendance, and commitment to previous roles.

  • Communication: Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed written work instructions, as well as carry out verbal directions.

  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and the ability to prioritize tasks based on workflow importance.

  • Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills, including the ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and software packages.

  • Aptitude: Willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt to a structured environment.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Position is based in a clean manufacturing/production setting.

  • Requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods.

  • Involves repetitive tasks and the handling of small, delicate components.

  • Specific work attire and safety equipment protocols will be provided during onboarding and training.
