Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Medical Device Assembler to support the production of high-quality medical devices in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role involves detailed catheter and small-component assembly, microscope work, inspection, testing, and packaging while following documented procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble catheters and medical device components in a cleanroom environment.
- Perform detailed assembly using microscopes, hand tools, syringes, adhesives, and other specialized equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements of components and finished products.
- Operate manufacturing equipment and computerized test systems.
- Repair and rework components using microscopes and precision tools.
- Package finished products and complete required documentation.
- Clean tools and equipment according to established procedures.
- Dispose of hazardous materials following safety guidelines.
- Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
Top Required Skills
- 2+ years of medical device assembly experience (catheter or small-component assembly preferred).
- Strong fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures.
- Fast learner with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working under a microscope (90% of the job).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions at a minimum 7th-grade reading level.
- Experience in cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong visual inspection and quality control skills.
