The Operator I is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging products according to established work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures. This position works in a fast-paced production environment and contributes to achieving daily production goals while maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble components and products according to detailed work instructions and specifications.
Perform basic testing, inspection, and verification of products to ensure quality standards are met.
Operate production equipment, hand tools, and testing devices as required.
Identify and report defects, equipment malfunctions, or quality concerns to supervisors.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Package finished products and prepare materials for shipment.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and company standards.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality expectations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25-50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the shift.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Work Environment
Manufacturing and production facility environment.
Exposure to noise, machinery, and production equipment.
Required use of PPE and adherence to all safety guidelines.
