Position Overview
We are seeking an Operator I to support manufacturing operations involving the assembly, testing, and calibration of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. The ideal candidate will ensure products are built to specification while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment while meeting daily production objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
Perform product testing, calibration, and verification procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Inspect components and finished products for quality and compliance with established standards.
Identify and troubleshoot production issues while working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
Complete required production documentation, including material tracking and non-conformance reports.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Management Systems (QMS), and safety guidelines.
Support training and knowledge sharing with team members as proficiency is demonstrated.
Perform additional manufacturing duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
Experience using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and measuring instruments.
Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Basic computer skills and mathematical understanding.
Good hand-eye coordination with strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and complete required training successfully.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Experience working under FDA, ISO, GMP, or similar quality standards.
Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems and documentation practices.
