Job Title: Medical Device Assembler / Production Operator 1st Shift Location: Minnetonka, MN Pay Rate: $18.75/hr Shift: 1st Shift Interview Date: Monday, June 1st Interview Times: 10:00 AM 11:30 AM Position Overview We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Production Operators to support the manufacturing of high-quality medical devices in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role involves assembly, repair, testing, and inspection of medical devices including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related assemblies. Candidates must be comfortable working with microscopes, handling small components, and following strict manufacturing and quality procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform assembly, repair, inspection, and testing of medical devices Utilize microscopes for precision assembly work (approximately 90% of positions) Follow written procedures and verbal instructions accurately Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure all products meet quality and traceability standards Operate within FDA-regulated and cleanroom manufacturing guidelines Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must possess at least a 7th-grade English reading and comprehension level Strong attention to detail and hand dexterity Ability to work with very small parts and components Basic computer and electronic data entry skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred Medical device experience is a plus Cleanroom / Dress Code Requirements Clothing must be clean, non-shedding, and free of loose fibers No fleece, sweaters, sequins, glitter, tassels, or frayed clothing Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required No sandals, slippers, or open-weave shoes Legs, torso, and upper arms must be fully covered No makeup, nail polish, artificial nails, perfumes, or scented products Jewelry and piercings that cannot be covered are prohibited Hair coverings must comply with cleanroom standards
