Position Summary (Bulleted)
Produce high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell
Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related medical device assemblies
Work under close supervision following specified and standardized procedures
Complete routine assignments with work continually reviewed for accuracy and quality
Key Responsibilities (Bulleted) Production & Quality
Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and components
Keep job documentation for cell operations accurate and current
Maintain precise records to ensure travelers and quality documents are traceable and complete
Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and meet quality/profitability goals
Apply basic Lean Manufacturing principles
Communication & Collaboration
Clearly convey ideas, problems, and solutions to manufacturing management, both verbally and in writing
Interact positively with internal coworkers and external visitors (e.g., facility tours)
Work with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics
Compliance & Safety
Follow all safety guidelines and use required safety devices during operations
Support divisional initiatives, including QMS, EMS, and other regulatory requirements

Read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand verbal instructions
Use electronic data collection systems and computer software
Prioritize tasks by determining sequencing and timing based on precedence and importance
Handle and maneuver small components and parts with precision
Make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision
Education (Bulleted)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Dress Code & Appearance Policy (Bulleted) General Rule: All clothing must be non-shedding, clean, and free of frayed hems, loose threads, or visible contamination (sand, mud, dirt, lint, etc.). Prohibited Clothing & Accessories
Tassels, fringes, glitter, sequins (sewn or glued), or any items that could become dislodged
Sweaters, sweater vests, loose-fiber garments, loose knits, or fleece
Turtle necks or high-necked collars that extend above the lab coat/gown
Sleeves that extend beyond the cuff of the lab coat/gown
Caps, hats, scarves, or bandanas under the bouffant (head wraps for customs allowed only if fully covered by bouffant and lab coat)
Loose-fitting clothing near machinery or soldering/brazing torches
Shorts, skirts above the ankle, skirts with slits, crop tops, or sleeveless tops
Sandals, clogs, slippers, open-toe, open-heel, or strap/weave shoes where toes are visible
Shoes with pointed heels or heels higher than 2 inches
Changing shoes anywhere outside the gowning room
Prohibited Personal Grooming
Nail polish, acrylics, artificial nails, or similar coatings
Jewelry or body piercings that could pierce gloves or cannot be fully covered by gowning materials
Makeup (lip balm in stick form allowed if applied outside production areas and before hand washing)
Scented personal products (except deodorant)
Lotions applied after hand washing
Required Attire
Torso, upper arms, and legs must be fully covered
Pants or ankle-length skirts (skirts must have full-length stockings, leggings, or pants underneath)
Stockings or socks must be worn
Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes
Any open or bleeding wounds must be covered with a bandage
General Conduct
Do not wear anything that could be considered offensive
All clothing must fit comfortably under the required lab coat/gown
