Job Description
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Familiar with safety rules (SDS, PPE requirements, etc.). Operates in a Safe manner.
- Operates various molding presses following standard procedures (understanding press packet)
- Deflashes, inspects and packs parts as needed and palletizes finished goods correctly per work instructions.
- Reports any non-conforming issues to shift supervisor
- Know and understand Quality Understands and performs visual criteria inspections.
- Verifies questionable parts with quality staff
- Fills out clean and legible reports (Scrap/Production Report, product labels)
- Responsible for a clean, orderly, and safe work area
- Clocks in/out for scheduled shift times
- Verifies job assignment and reports to assigned press at scheduled start time
- Respect co-workers, equipment and facility
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Maintains acceptable attendance based on the 10-point attendance policy
- Must be able to stand while operating machinery
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
- Understand difference between (WP) and (FG) products
- IQMS usage - clocks in/out properly for work/breaks
- Understands the difference between skill levels needed to progress through Operator I-III
- Understanding of all areas outlined on the Skills Checklist.
