PRODUCTION OPERATOR MONDAY-THURSDAY 4:00AM-2:00PM, $23.00-$24.00 PER HOUR DOE.

The General Production Operator will perform all tasks related to the production of fireproofing material in a safe and efficient manner.

-Essential Functions:-

a. - -Complies with all plant safety and quality policies.

b. - -Operates all production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

c. - -Performs all jobs related to production, including but not limited to the PIPS Operator, the Bagger, Line 2 Operator, Line 1 Operator, Raw Material Charger, Rover, and Forklift Driver

Secondary Functions:

a. - -Maintains PIPS levels by continually feeding PIPS into the system.

b. - -Continually maintains bag levels in the D-Stacker for Line 2

c. - -Monitors the automated bagging operation on Line 2 and adjusts as needed to ensure proper operation.

d. - -Periodically reviews the process trends in the control room and adjusts the process as appropriate.

e. - -Responds appropriately to rejects and miss spouts for Line 2

f. - -Keeps all the raw material hoppers charged with material, for Line 1 or Line 2

g. - -Manually bags and parallelizes finished product for Line 1

h. - -Reprocesses all rejects from Line 2

i. - -Takes finished product pallets and stores the material in the warehouse using a forklift.

j. - -Brings over raw materials and chargers raw material hoppers using a forklift.

k. - -Stretch wraps pallets as required.

l. - -Date and time stamps pallets of finished product for Line 1. Ensures that the time and date printer for Line 2 is functioning properly.

m. - -Performs daily housekeeping assignments.

n. - -Completes the daily shift report.

o. - -Participates in the daily safety huddles.

p. - -Performs other more intensive housekeeping activities as required by management.

q. - -Assists in completing monthly EH&S inspections.

r. - -Participates in the monthly safety briefings.-

s. - -Assists in putting pallet covers on material as required.

t. - -Covers breaks for other employees to maintain proper plant operation.

u. - -Other tasks and assignments as deemed necessary by management.


Successful candidate:

a. Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English in-order to effectively carry out the job tasks.

b. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment

c. A high school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

d. Must possess a strong work ethic and safety attitude.

e. Forklift experience/certification preferred.

f. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the local pay range for this position, which is $21.50 to $35 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $44720 to $72800. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.-
