Job Summary

The Wire EDM Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) equipment to manufacture precision components used in medical devices. This role ensures that all parts meet strict quality and dimensional standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position involves the setup and operation of several EDM machines during the 2nd shift.

Shift Details

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Manage the setup and operation of multiple EDM machines for maximum efficiency.
• Utilize hand measurement tools to ensure precision.
• Be aware of department goals and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Collaborate with process engineering to improve processes, reduce scrap, and increase productivity.
• Perform other responsibilities as required by the EDM Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production work instructions, routers, and specifications.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from operators, upper management, and auditors.
• Spanish language skills are not required but would be an asset.
• English language skills are required.
