Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.)

DESCRIPTION

Shift:

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, M-F

A Day in the Life:

  • Operate Machinery: Efficiently and safely manage assigned machinery, perform simple maintenance, and make vital adjustments.
  • Setup and Maintenance: Participate in line opening and machine setup.
  • Compliance: Follow all written procedures and report discrepancies to the Area Supervisor.
  • Quality Control: Document accurately and check personal work for quality and compliance. Continuously supervise products for defects.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to improve the production process.
  • Training: Assist in training and developing peers.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting, or related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing), including technical and scientific language.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours a day).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements including pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, bending, grasping, and crouching.
