Operator/ Machine Operator/ Assembler/ Cleanroom

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Operator I to support the production of high-quality medical device components in a manufacturing environment. This position will perform a combination of assembly, testing, repair, and production operations on medical device assemblies used in implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).

This is an entry-level manufacturing opportunity. Prior manufacturing experience is not required. Successful candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, able to follow detailed work instructions, and willing to learn new processes and procedures.

• Perform assembly, testing, repair, and production operations according to standardized procedures and work instructions.
• Manufacture and handle medical device components and assemblies while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manufacturing procedures.
• Meet daily production goals and performance metrics established by the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager.
• Monitor individual performance and contribute to team production targets.
• Follow all safety procedures, manufacturing guidelines, PPE requirements, and applicable safety standards.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records to ensure product traceability, inventory accuracy, and documentation compliance.
• Identify and communicate quality issues, production concerns, process problems, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Support team objectives and contribute to maintaining efficient production operations.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Participate in continuous improvement, process improvement, and Lean initiatives.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative working relationship with coworkers and leadership.
• Follow applicable Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) requirements.
• Comply with applicable medical device regulations, quality standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing/production work area.
• Perform repetitive production tasks and handle small components with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written work instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions and directions.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and determine appropriate work sequencing and timing.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Ability and willingness to follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use computer software and electronic data collection systems.
• Willingness to learn new manufacturing processes and take direction from supervisors and trainers.
