JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an Operator/Mechanic IV to operate flexographic printing equipment, support slitting operations, and ensure production output meets quality, timeline, and budget requirements. This role involves hands-on machine operation, preventive maintenance, and supporting shipping and receiving activities in a manufacturing environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate 1–4 color flexographic printing presses Print and slit Tyvek and other film materials Ensure products meet quality specifications, production timelines, and cost requirements Assist the Printing/Slitting Supervisor with daily operational tasks Perform preventive maintenance on printing and slitting equipment Manage inventory by sourcing and restocking printed materials Support shipping and receiving operations as needed Prepare finished goods for shipment, including assembling, sealing, labeling, and palletizing boxes Verify customer information and apply appropriate shipping and quality inspection labels Move completed shipments to designated staging or quarantine areas Perform additional duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum 1+ year of flexographic or offset printing experience Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination Ability to focus for extended periods of time Basic mechanical aptitude Basic computer skills Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more Ability to stand for 6–8 hours daily Ability to visually identify colors and small defects PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Apprenticeship or prior technical training in printing or manufacturing CERTIFICATIONS Forklift Certification Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training Completion of required onboarding and safety training programs Education: High School
