Position: Operator

Required Shifts: 12 Hour- Night Shift; 6pm – 6:30am.

Key Responsibilities 

As a night shift Machine Operator, you will serve as a technical system expert. You will safely operate production and packaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and help drive continuous improvements. 

  • Equipment Operation: Efficiently operate conversion and packaging machinery to package finished products securely for our customers. 

  • Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Conduct technical troubleshooting, clear equipment jams, reset machine faults, and lead product changeovers. 

  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete basic preventative maintenance tasks (CILs: Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) to keep our lines running smoothly. 

  • Quality Assurance: Always ensure absolute conformance with food safety and quality standards (GMPs). 

  • Digital Communication: Enter, track, and retrieve accurate and timely production data using standard computer/iPad systems. 

  • Informal Leadership: Manage raw inventory throughout the production process and provide supportive, informal guidance and coaching to temporary associates. 

  • Safe Work Environment: Actively wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), identify safety hazards, and maintain a pristine and orderly work area. 

 

Position Requirements 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent civilian/military education. 

  • Experience: 1+ years of manufacturing experience OR equivalent technical/operational military experience. 

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive, collaborative attitude. 

  • Technical Literacy: Basic computer/iPad skills with a passion for learning new automated systems. 

  • Professional Attributes: Highly reliable, resilient, conscientious, punctual, and driven by a strong work ethic. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces. 

  • Physical mobility to climb stairs and ladders safely. 

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

  • U.S. Marine Corps: Machinist (2161), Metal Worker (1316), Engineer Equipment Operator (1345), Supply Chain/Logistics Specialist (3043), Motor Vehicle Operator (3531). Your squad leadership (NCO) experience maps directly to directing and coordinating with temporary production associates. 

  • U.S. Coast Guard: Machinery Technician (MK), Damage Controlman (DC), Storekeeper (SK).
