Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform precision assembly, component manipulation with hand tools, and detailed visual inspections under a microscope in accordance with standard operating procedures and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and detailed assembly of parts and subassemblies using hand tools and microscopes according to written instructions, diagrams, and standard procedures.
  • Conduct fine assembly, soldering, or inspection tasks under a microscope for extended periods.
  • Strictly adhere to company policies, operating procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality output.
  • Accurately read, write, and interpret technical information, logs, and work orders. Apply basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to track counts and measurements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Experience & Background

  • Minimum of six (6) months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (Medical Device manufacturing experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated stable employment history and reliable tenure.
    Note: This role is focused strictly on precision bench assembly and manufacturing operations (not warehouse, distribution, or forklift operation).


Skills & Competencies

  • Comfortable and proficient working with microscopes and magnifying equipment for detailed assembly tasks.
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination using small hand tools.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Strong attention to detail, focus, and adherence to quality standards.

Physical & Vision Requirements

  • Must be able to pass an eye exam and color vision test. Requires strong visual acuity, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to intermittently bend, stoop, twist, squat, climb, crawl, push, and pull as required during the shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
