Qualifications:
High school or equivalent
Production experience desired
Ability to lift/move/push/pull heavy objects up to 60 lbs
Flexibility to adjust daily work flow, to complete tasks
Must be mechanically inclined
Responsibilities:
Monitors incoming materials, regrind, compound
Must be mechanically inclined and capable of basic troubleshooting
Continually monitors all tooling and downstream equipment to achieve proper specifications.
Performs continuous 1/2 hour quality checks by measuring, testing, and recording data
Package vinyl siding and check to ensure the nesting, piece count, box labels, barcodes, UPC labels (if applied), and date stamps are correct
Record run number stamp, employee stamp, and box number on all boxes packed
Inspect all products for visual and physical defect, to ensure 100% quality
Notify the Operator, Q/A tech, or Supervisor of any quality problems found
Assist Operator when starting up/shutting down production line
Comments/Special Instructions:
Must bring lunch. Cannot leave the facility for breaks. Lunch breaks are paid. Occasional overtime.
