Operator Trainee

Location: Holly Springs, MS
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: Contract (through May 23, 2026)

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated Operator Trainees to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous production/manufacturing experience preferred

• Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting ability

• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 60 lbs

• Flexible and adaptable to changing workflow demands

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming materials including regrind and compound

• Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with equipment adjustments

• Continuously monitor tooling and downstream equipment to ensure proper specifications

• Conduct quality checks every 30 minutes (measure, test, and record data)

• Package vinyl siding and verify proper nesting, piece count, labeling, barcodes, UPC labels, and date stamps

• Record run number stamp, employee stamp, and box number on all packed boxes

• Inspect products for visual and physical defects to ensure 100% quality standards

• Notify Operator, QA Technician, or Supervisor of any quality concerns

• Assist with production line start-ups and shutdowns

Schedule & Work Details

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• 30-minute paid lunch (employees must remain onsite during breaks)

• Occasional overtime based on production demand (may include Saturdays)

• 37.5 regular hours per week
