We are seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Operator Trainees to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing while working in a team-oriented setting.
High school diploma or GED required
Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 60 lbs
Flexible and able to adjust to changing production demands
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Monitor incoming materials, regrind, and compound
Perform basic troubleshooting and support equipment adjustments
Continuously monitor tooling and downstream equipment to maintain product specifications
Conduct quality checks every 30 minutes (measure, test, and record data)
Package vinyl siding and verify nesting, piece count, box labels, barcodes, UPC labels (if applicable), and date stamps
Record run number, employee stamp, and box number on all packed materials
Inspect finished products for visual and physical defects to ensure 100% quality compliance
Report any quality concerns to the Operator, QA Technician, or Supervisor
Assist with production line startup and shutdown procedures
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Monday through Friday
Occasional overtime based on production needs (may include Saturdays)
30-minute lunch break (employees must remain onsite during breaks)
37.5 regular hours per week
W-2 contract position
Base pay rate: $19.00/hour
2nd shift differential automatically applied (+$1.50/hour)
Drug screening and employment eligibility verification required
