New Optical Practice seeking full time Ophthalmic Tech to assist with both in person and telehealth eye exams Previous Refraction experience required Responsibilities Include:
Communicating with patient regarding eye health
Performing pre - testing on patients including autorefractor, fundus photos, and visual field
Upload pre-testing images to computer system
Refract patient to get eyeglass prescription
Using telehealth system to have doctor come on screen (very simple)
Explain preliminary results to patient (deep knowledge of eye not required but a plus)
