Part-Time Eye Provider (Ophthalmologist/Optometrist) | Independent Medical Assessments | Wichita Falls, TX

The IMA Group is seeking a licensed Eye Provider (Ophthalmologist or Optometrist) to perform independent medical assessments in the Wichita Falls, TX area.

 

This is a flexible, evaluation-based opportunity designed for providers who prefer objective assessments over ongoing patient care or treatment management. The role is structured for approximately one day per month, however if unable to dedicate a full day, a few appointments per week can be accommodated based on availability.

 

This position requires an established private office space in the Wichita Falls area.

Position Overview

The Eye Provider will conduct scheduled ophthalmologic or optometric assessments, gather relevant clinical information, review medical records, and complete structured, objective evaluation reports. This is a consultative role focused exclusively on assessment and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and visual assessments
  • Review medical records and supporting documentation
  • Document findings using electronic reporting systems
  • Complete clear, objective, structured evaluation reports
  • Communicate professionally with support staff

Qualifications

  • Active license as an Ophthalmologist (MD/DO) or Optometrist (OD) in good standing
  • Strong clinical evaluation and documentation skills
  • Experience with a range of ocular conditions and visual disorders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Must have established office space in the Wichita Falls area
