Ophthalmology Veterinarian – Specialty Hospital

 

A multi-specialty veterinary hospital is seeking an Ophthalmology Veterinarian to join its collaborative team of specialists and emergency clinicians. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced ophthalmic care in a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical technology.

 

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and vision-related conditions in animal patients

  • Perform ophthalmic examinations and specialized diagnostic procedures

  • Develop and manage treatment plans for ophthalmologic conditions

  • Perform ophthalmic surgeries and advanced eye procedures as needed

  • Collaborate with specialists and emergency veterinarians to provide comprehensive patient care

  • Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis

  • Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university

  • Training or experience in veterinary ophthalmology

  • Strong diagnostic and surgical skills in ophthalmic medicine

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
