Description
Maintains the proper functioning of all Campus Recreation spaces while providing an upbeat welcoming attitude to the community. Being professional in your communications with the community and a hard-working attitude are expected. Organization, timeliness, and motivation to improve Campus Recreation programs are good traits for this position. Lifeguarding responsibilities will be assigned once required certification is attained. Once hired the Campus Recreation Lifeguard will be assigned a Project Focus Team which could be any of the following: Even, Leadership, Maintenance, Marketing, or Safety Team.
Examples of Duties
Open and close the Campus Recreation spaces following procedural process
Work to assist in the maintenance of a well-functioning program
This will include the following:
Logging in students/staff/faculty
Keeping inventory of materials and signing out equipment to NCF affiliates
Organizing equipment, cleaning tasks, and managing spaces
Helping with projects assigned by supervisor
Give tours of spaces and equipment
Provide exceptional customer service
Be knowledgeable about equipment in whichever Campus Recreation space you are working
Work on Focus Team projects
Staying up to date about events/programming
Other duties as assigned
