  • Fall Cohort: August 10, 2026 – November 20, 2026
  • Spring Cohort: January 11, 2027 – April 17, 2027

The Autism Micro-Credential Program is seeking approximately 10 Course Facilitators to support educators completing an online professional development course.

This is a part-time position that can be completed from anywhere in Florida. The role is ideal for teachers, retired educators, speech-language pathologists, behavior analysts, and other professionals with experience working with individuals with autism who are interested in flexible, supplemental income. Course Facilitators help learners successfully complete the course by answering questions, grading assignments using provided rubrics, providing feedback, and verifying course completion.

As part of state-funded initiatives under SB112, this position plays a key role in advancing UF Health’s mission to expand behavioral health and psychiatric services and increase access to comprehensive, high-quality mental health care for the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

  • Answer participant questions through Canvas.
  • Review and grade submitted assignments using established rubrics.
  • Provide clear and supportive written feedback.
  • Verify completion of course requirements.
  • Monitor participant progress throughout the course.
  • Attend occasional virtual facilitator meetings and training sessions.

Expected Salary:

$19.00 hourly 

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Experience in schools, educational settings, clinical settings, or related fields.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort using Canvas or similar online learning platforms.
Preferred:
  • Current or former teacher.
  • Florida teaching certification.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist or BCBA credential.
  • Autism endorsement or autism-related professional experience.
  • Experience grading assignments, coaching, mentoring, or training.
