Responsibilities

• Escort students when they leave the test room for unscheduled breaks (e.g., bathroom).
• Monitor student behavior during computer-based exams and report any concerns of irregularities to the Chief Proctor.
• Assist in maintaining exam security procedures in the event of an unexpected disruption (e.g., fire alarm).
• Assignment to specific dates and times will be made at the beginning of the semester (August and January) based on matching Proctor requests and College needs (6 - 7 proctors per exam).
• Proctors are expected to fulfill agreed schedules.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proctors should be mature, responsible, and respectfully assertive. No one may proctor who is a potential examinee, a relative of an examinee, or involved in or planning to be involved in examination review courses, publications, or similar programs for which a fee is charged.

Anticipated Salary Range

Pay is $15.00 per hour.

• Monday, August 17, 7:45 am - 12:15 pm
• Monday, September 14, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
• Friday, September 18, 7:45 am - 11:15 am
• Thursday, October 15, 7:45 am - 11:15 am
• Friday, October 16, 7:45 am - 10:45 am
• Friday, November 13, 7:45 am - 11:15 am
• Monday, November 16, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
• Thursday, December 17, 7:45 am - 11:15 am
• Friday, December 18, 7:45 am - 10:45 am

Accommodations testing times will be different from the above schedule. Start time is 7:45 am, but end time will be as late as 3:00 pm.
