This individual will observe pre-recorded videos of home visits and use a structured observation system to code specific behaviors of practitioners, caregivers, and children as they engage in everyday routines. This individual will also assist with data processing and quality assurance activities. Observational coding
Attend required trainings provided by key personnel related to video observation and observational coding
Learn and apply observational coding systems as indicated in trainings
Watch and code pre-recorded home visit videos using a structured coding system
Maintain accuracy by applying observational coding techniques
Complete coding assignments within assigned timelines
Data management and transcription
Assist with collecting, organizing, processing, and managing coded video data
Transcribe and translate Spanish-language home visit videos
Edit and update related project documents
Team meetings and Center needs
Attend project-related team meetings
Assist with other project- or Center-related activities as assigned
Expected Salary:
$15.00 - $16.00/hr
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet data quality and deadline standards.
Must be fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, special education, or a related field
Experience with observational coding, video coding, or behavioral data collection
Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children with developmental delays
Familiarity with early intervention, early childhood, or special education settings
