Responsibilities
The Spring Lab in the Department of Behavioral Science and Social Medicine, College of Medicine at FSU seeks a self-motivated, experienced Research Assistant to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team conducting research on behavioral risk factors for chronic diseases (such as poor-quality diet, physical inactivity, obesity, and tobacco use). The lab develops, optimizes, and evaluates cutting-edge, technology-supported interventions to improve self-regulation, engage social support, and facilitate healthful behavior change. Duties include:
Qualifications
4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a major such as social or health science.
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and a proven track record of excellence.
Must complete Florida State University's required CITI trainings prior to interacting with any participants and must recertify every 3 years.
