FSU Childcare & Early Learning Program

Responsibilities

  • Assist faculty in the supervision of young children, six weeks to five years of age, in daily activities.
  • Assist with housekeeping tasks, such as wiping down tables, cleaning the floors, etc.
  • Assist with other needs of FSU Childcare as needed.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent and some experience working with children.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree or a degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development, or Family and Child Science.

Other Information

Applicable DCF-mandated post-hire training will be required.

Anticipated Salary Range

$15 per hour.

Considerations

This is an OPS/temporary job.

Hours are flexible and depend on the Centers needs; typically 10 - 20 hours per week.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, including a fingerprint-based screening via AHCA's Clearinghouse pursuant to Section 1012, Florida Statutes, for positions in a FSU Developmental Research School or Section 409.175, Florida Statutes, for positions in a Childcare or Summer Camp position.
