Description
The Optical Engineer, Core Systems, will lead the development and integration of advanced optical components for Hach sensor products, working closely with R&D and research teams. Responsibilities include devising test plans, defining performance specifications, and performing optical modelling. The role requires a BS degree (MS preferred) in Optical Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in optical engineering. Proficiency in optical design software (Zemax OpticStudio), lens design, and statistical data analysis tools (JMP, MATLAB, Python) is essential. Familiarity with optics metrology tools is also required. The position is based in Loveland, Colorado, with a salary range of $110,000-$125,000 USD and eligibility for bonus pay. US residency is required.
