Job Overview
Are you organized, personable, creative, and someone who enjoys a job where no two days look exactly the same? We may be looking for you!
The Optical Programs Coordinator is an important part of the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation (OLSHF) team. This position welcomes visitors, keeps our front office and optical programs running smoothly, supports our optical team, and helps us connect with our community both in person and online.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, learning new things, and wearing a variety of hats. One day may include answering phones, helping someone select eyeglass frames, processing optical orders, preparing for a community event, updating our online shop, or creating a social media post.
Optical experience is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train the right person!
Please note: Health benefits are 100% employer paid and include health, dental, and vision insurance, short and long term disability, Oregon Paid Leave equivalent plan, life, and AD&D.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required with advance notice.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, approachable, curious, and comfortable wearing different hats. You don't need to know everything on day one. A willingness to learn, contribute, and be part of a team is important to us.
Why This Role?
This isn't a job where you'll sit at a front desk doing the same thing all day. It's a hands-on, collaborative position that touches many parts of our organization, from optical and nonprofit programs to community outreach, e-commerce, and social media.
If you like helping people, staying organized, being creative, and pitching in wherever you're needed, we'd love to hear from you!
