We’re looking for an Optician 1 to join a patient-focused eye care practice in Louisville, KY.

If you’re friendly, dependable, organized, and enjoy working with people, this could be a great opportunity to build your skills in the optical and healthcare field.

No optical experience? No problem! Optical or healthcare experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person who brings great customer service skills and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

You’ll help create a welcoming, positive experience for patients throughout their visit.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting patients
• Answering phones and helping patients with questions
• Scheduling appointments
• Checking patients in and out
• Assisting patients with their optical needs
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Helping patients understand their visit and next steps
• Handling front desk and administrative duties
• Maintaining accurate patient information
• Working with the practice team to keep the office running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is positive, personable, professional, and great with people.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Basic computer skills
• Professional presentation
• 1+ year of customer service or related experience preferred
• Optical or healthcare experience is a plus
• A willingness to learn — we’ll train the right candidate!
