Are you a people person who enjoys helping others and wants to build your skills in eye care? We’re looking for an Optician 1 to join a patient-focused practice in Rockville, MD.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working directly with patients. Optical or healthcare experience is a plus, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.

What You’ll Do

As an Optician 1, you’ll help make sure patients have a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting patients

• Answering phones and helping patients with questions

• Scheduling appointments

• Checking patients in and out

• Assisting patients with their optical needs

• Providing friendly, professional customer service

• Helping patients understand their visit and next steps

• Handling front desk and administrative responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate patient information

• Working with the practice team to keep the office running smoothly
