High fashion, well established optometry practice is looking for a full-time optometric optical dispensary/technician/front desk. We are looking for a positive person that is eager to learn all areas of the practice. Responsibilities for the position include:
- Optical dispensary involving aiding patients with frame selection and lens options
- Front desk duties including verifying patient insurances
- Preparing examination and treatment rooms
- Patient case history
- Perform accurate pre-testing and documentation
- Perform special medical testing
- Administering diagnostic eye drops
- Follow up with patients
- Contact lens training with patients
Previous experience in frame styling, selling glasses, and vision insurance is a must. Other optometric experience is helpful but not required. Patient care is top priority, so you must have excellent communications skills.
