Key Responsibilities:
Design & Fit: Measure, design, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for patients based on optical prescriptions.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, assisting patients in selecting frames and ensuring the perfect fit for their eyewear.
Precision & Accuracy: Prepare work orders for optical labs, verify the exactness of finished lenses, and make necessary adjustments.
Patient Education: Educate patients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care, and provide follow-up services including adjustments and repairs.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with prescribing providers, collaborate with existing personnel for a cohesive experience for our patients, and assist in training new personnel.

Education: Minimum High school diploma or GED required.
Licensing: ABO and Georgia Licensed Dispensing Optician certification welcomed
Experience: Current experience in an eyeglass dispensary, final inspection of eyewear with manual lensometer, ability to do adjustments and repairs of eyewear.
Skills:
Excellent customer service and sales skills
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with EMR systems - Compulink experience strongly preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality
Ability to read a manual lensometer, perform quality checks on eyewear including neutralizing prescriptions, transposing if needed, and troubleshooting any patient issues that may arise from an eyeglass order.
Familiarity with contact lens ordering & performing I&Rs.
