About the Job

Responsibilities:

• Educate patients and recommend appropriate lenses, lens treatments, and frames.
• Take accurate measurements and assist with eyewear selection.
• Order lenses from optical laboratories.
• Process insurance claims and related paperwork.
• Inspect completed lab work for accuracy.
• Notify patients when orders are ready.
• Perform eyeglass repairs and adjustments.
• Provide friendly and professional patient service.
• Maintain accurate records and complete computer-based tasks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the optical field.
• Knowledge of frames, lenses, measurements, and optical products.
• Comfortable using computers and electronic health record systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good organizational and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and professional.
• Comfortable working with basic mathematics.
