Position Overview:

• We are currently seeking an Optician to join our team and contribute to our patient's overall well-being.

Job Details:

• Position: Optician
• Job Type: Part-time (8-20 hrs/week base on candidates preference)

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses or contact lenses based on their prescriptions and lifestyle preferences.
• Take accurate measurements of patients' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fitting of eyewear.
• Educate patients on the proper care and maintenance of eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Verify and interpret prescriptions written by optometrists and ophthalmologists.
• Adjust and repair eyewear as needed, ensuring optimal comfort and vision.
• Maintain an organized inventory of eyeglass frames and contact lenses.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address patients' questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new eyewear products.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Optician
• Florida Optician License (or eligible to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dedication to providing quality eye care services
