Optometric Technician

About the Role:
Arnett Vision Care is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team in Florence, KY! Responsibilities:

• Perform preliminary patient testing including visual acuity, tonometry, and autorefraction
• Assist the optometrist during comprehensive eye exams and specialized procedures
• Collect and accurately document patient medical histories and chief complaints
• Educate patients on contact lens care, insertion, and removal techniques
• Maintain exam room supplies
• Manage patient flow and scheduling to ensure a smooth and efficient clinic experience
• Support front office staff with patient check-in, insurance verification, and record management as needed

Requirements:

• No experience required 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care
