The primary responsibility of the Optometrist position is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered vision and ocular health care to patients emphasizing routine and medical eye exams, diagnosis and management of ocular disease, prescription of corrective lenses, and patient education. The Optometrist also ensures high-quality care and supports practice operations often collaborating and coordinating with physicians and other allied health professionals to provide a range of eye health care to patient population. Must be Optometry (unencumbered) licensed and currently registered as such by the State of Wisconsin. Must obtain and maintain National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) certification or be board certification eligible to take board certification within six (6) months of hire and successfully obtain board certification.
