The Opportunity

FYidoctors USA is seeking a passionate and patient-focused Optometrist to join our growing team in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area. This part-time opportunity is primarily based in Los Gatos, with scheduled clinic days in Mountain View, offering the ideal blend of variety, collaboration, and exposure to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular conditions
• Provide contact lens fittings and limited low vision care
• Develop personalized treatment plans and prescribe corrective lenses
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
• Deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient base, including a strong Medicaid population

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active California Optometry license
• Medicaid credentialing preferred
• 1–2+ years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and thrive within a collaborative team environment
• Spanish language proficiency is an asset, but not required

Schedule & Compensation

• Flexible part-time schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays
• Approximately 14–16 patients per day with 20-minute exam slots
• Competitive compensation starting at $500/day plus production bonus opportunities
• Potential for future leadership and career growth within the organization
