Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care services, including routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, diagnosis and management of ocular disease, and patient education. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, personable, and passionate about delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions (e.g., glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease)
• Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including contact lenses
• Provide pre- and post-operative care when applicable
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and preventative care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Collaborate with optical staff and support team to ensure smooth patient flow
• Stay current with optometric advancements and best practices
• Uphold all professional, ethical, and legal standards of care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active state optometry license in good standing
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Preferred Skills

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
• Interest in specialty services (dry eye, myopia control, specialty contact lenses, etc.)
• Strong patient-centered mindset
• Team-oriented and dependable
