What We’re Looking For:


  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and an active California license.
  • Proficiency in clinical Spanish to communicate effectively with our patient base.

Responsibilities


  • Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular diseases.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and determine appropriate treatment plans for patients.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting findings and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in optometry and related fields through continuous education.

Experience


  • Experience in patient care, including taking vital signs and managing medical records.
  • Familiarity with medical coding and optical systems is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
