Job Summary and Responsibilities

Schedule: 8 hours Wednesday (noon-8pm) and 14 hour shifts Th-Fr 6am-8pm with manager (administrative only) call coverage

As our Surgery Scheduler, you will be a critical orchestrator of complex operational logistics, ensuring seamless alignment of resources, personnel, and services.

Every day, you will expertly manage intricate scheduling and resource allocation while meticulously entering and maintaining data. You will also produce schedules, and oversee template maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong communication, and proficiency with scheduling systems. Your proactive approach and commitment to operational precision are paramount.

Responsibilities:

• Appropriate assignment of surgical staff matching skill level with procedures • Work with anesthesia to keep operating schedule running on time • Assign lunch relief for all surgical staff members • Match staff hours to surgical schedule and adjust appropriately • Acts as a resource for staff • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Associate Of Nursing, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Of Nursing
  • Two years in the operating room as a registered nurse, upon hire
