Employment Type:\n \nPart time\n \nShift:\n \nDay Shift\n \nDescription:\n \nSt. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an Interventional Technician to join their OR!\n \nEmployment Type: Per Diem \n \nShift: Days \n\n Must be flexible to work weekends and holiday rotations as needed\n \nOR Interventional Technician\n \nMust have strong critical thinking skills, work well under pressure with high acuity situations. Prepares, operates, and maintains X-Ray equipment. Position requires on-call responsibility. Technologist's primary role will be in neuro-endovascular with complimentary role in cardiovascular interventions. Is the subject matter expert/clinical resource for these cases.\n\n be able to operate and troubleshoot equipment used in the Interventional OR\n \n\n To be able to maintain and access X-ray equipment for routine maintenance and service needs\n \n\n Able to interpret and assist physician with pertinent patient and procedural information\n \n\n Compile test results utilizing hospital policy and procedures Insures proper identification of patient\n \n\n Prep patient for procedures while maintaining patient privacy\n \n\n Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation: Positioning / Technique Responds effectively in an emergency situation\n \n\n Able to communicate any observed changes in patient condition to physician\n \n\n Acts as a patient advocate and upholds patient rights Prioritizes/organizes work assignments and adjusts priorities based on changing situations\n \n\n Consults and communicates with other departments in a professional manner\n \n\n Demonstrates understanding of safety, health and morale needs of customers/co-workers by taking steps to ensure those needs are met\n \n\n Functions as a scrub assist to physicians during interventional procedures\n \n\n Prepares patient for procedures providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety\n \n\n Operates medical imaging equipment properly and safely\n \n\n* Demonstrates awareness of Radiation Safety procedures \n \n\n \nOur Commitment \n \nRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
