As a Lead Surgical Technologist – Thoracic Surgery, you will play a vital leadership role in one of the nation's premier academic medical centers, supporting complex surgical procedures while mentoring colleagues and ensuring excellence in patient care.What You'll DoAs a Lead Surgical Technologist, you will be an essential member of the perioperative team, working under the direction of the surgeon and in collaboration with nurses and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals. Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licensure & Certification

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist required.

• Thoracic surgery experience required.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills with a commitment to exceptional patient care.

• Leadership experience or the ability to serve as a clinical resource and mentor is highly desirable.
